These earrings are made by hand with rescued almost neon green wrapping paper. This paper lived in a dark closet until it was freed and wrapped a gift.

I think it was a toy that was wrapped in this paper. It was torn open with delight and cast aside to reveal it's contents but I managed to salvage several pieces to make these earrings before it was swept away. I carefully cut, fold and weave each piece of paper together to make a tidy, square stack of reclaimed paper. Each pair is truly one of a kind and sealed with an earth friendly sealer.

Wearing these is a great reminder to repurpose when you can. Waste not, Want not.
